  • 23 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 12 bratwursts, cooked and sliced
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut, well drained
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside if using.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet.
  4. Spread a thin layer of whole grain mustard evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  6. Add Swiss cheese on top of the mozzarella.
  7. Distribute sliced bratwurst evenly across the pizza.
  8. Add well-drained sauerkraut and caramelized onions.
  9. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  10. Bake for 10–14 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  12. Let rest for 3–5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Drain the sauerkraut thoroughly to prevent a soggy crust. Pre-cook the bratwurst fully before adding to the pizza. For extra crispiness, bake on a preheated pizza stone.
