Description
This three-ingredient cinnamon roll hack transforms store-bought rolls into soft, gooey, bakery-style perfection using a simple pour of heavy cream before baking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (12.4 oz) Pillsbury Original or Grands Cinnamon Rolls
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 packet cream cheese icing (included)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
- Pinch of sea salt flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place cinnamon rolls in a greased 9×9-inch baking dish with slight spacing.
- Pour heavy whipping cream evenly over the rolls.
- Optional: mix vanilla or cinnamon into the cream before pouring.
- Bake for 25–28 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 3–5 minutes.
- Warm icing packet slightly and drizzle over rolls.
- Optional: sprinkle with sea salt or add extra toppings.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Use full-fat heavy cream for best results. Avoid flaky-style rolls. Let rolls rest after baking to absorb the cream fully and maintain structure.
