A tangy, buttery, slightly spicy copycat Pizza Hut wing sauce you can make at home in minutes using simple pantry ingredients.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup Frank’s RedHot Original Sauce
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the Frank’s RedHot sauce to the melted butter and stir to combine.
  3. Add white vinegar, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Stir well until the sauce is smooth and combined.
  5. If using Worcestershire sauce, add it and stir again.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Remove from heat.
  8. Toss the sauce with hot cooked chicken wings.
  9. Serve immediately or store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator.

Notes

For milder sauce add extra butter. For a hotter buffalo-style version reduce butter and increase cayenne pepper.
