Ingredients
- 1 packet (7g) unflavored beef gelatin powder — bovine source
- 2 tablespoons cold water, for blooming
- 1 cup warm water, not boiling
- Optional: juice of ½ lemon
- Optional: 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Pour 2 tablespoons of cold water into a small glass.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder over the water and let it bloom for 2 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup of warm water until the gelatin fully dissolves and the liquid is clear.
- Add the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar if using.
- Drink immediately or let it set slightly in the fridge for 10 minutes before consuming.
- If you choose to consume it before a meal, wait 15–20 minutes before eating.
Notes
Use bovine (beef) gelatin rather than pork-derived gelatin and always check the label. Avoid boiling water. Start with one serving per day to see how your body responds. This recipe is not endorsed by Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and no clinical trials have studied the viral gelatin trick as a standalone weight-loss protocol. Consult your doctor before making dietary changes, especially if you are pregnant, have kidney or digestive conditions, or are recovering from bariatric surgery.
