Description

A simple pre-meal gelatin drink using Great Lakes grass-fed beef gelatin for appetite control and fullness before meals.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon Great Lakes Grass-Fed Beef Gelatin (red canister)
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup hot water or herbal tea (160–180°F, not boiling)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Pinch of pink Himalayan salt (optional)
  • A few drops of liquid stevia (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water.
  2. Let sit 5 minutes until thick and spongy.
  3. Pour hot water over bloomed gelatin.
  4. Stir 1-2 minutes until completely clear.
  5. Add lemon juice, salt, or stevia if using.
  6. Drink warm 15-30 minutes before your largest meal.

Notes

For gelatin cubes: pour into a small mold and refrigerate 2-4 hours until firm. Eat 3-4 cubes before meals. Always use the red canister — not the green collagen peptides canister.
